The priviledge that I never thought of
"When we pray, we often not aware that we are praying before God......"
Busy and noisy mind, need to plan this and that and etc, make us can't even spend a few moment of quietness when we pray. We thought we have prayed, indeed, we prayed and we felt God. However, there is a stillness of inner peace that is below the heart that we are not able to in touch with, not without silence.
Silence is important in order to return to the core of ourselves, the inner life and perhaps you know that it is where you find the spark of divine. We want the answer as soon as possible, but God is the friend of silence, he reveals his spirit to us through this silence, and it is from which we obtain different types of gift to live in Christ. Love, wisdom, intelligence, obedience and etc....We have to look for God.
So here we are, in front of God, are our problems bigger than God or God is our only number 1? If he is, tell yourself to shoo away all the thought, try to stay focus on your breathing and be silence for 5 minutes. Tell yourself not to think anything but just focus on the relaxation that is brought to you in this silent prayer.
